A Poem A Day, Poem #16
your hands part the waters of my memory
like carving miracles into soggy sand and the
waves that leave broken pictures of your eyes

audible ebbs of ecstatic inflatable breathing, over
and over again, with the rhythm of the water washing
wake-ups from the periphery of this drenched, and sun
